DesignWorks NY Donates Creative Work to Two Local Organizations

Westchester, NY, September 2, 2011 – DesignWorks NY was again one of 15 agencies to participate in the “Give & Grow” program, sponsored by The Journal News. The program was designed to benefit local charities and non-profit organizations by pairing them with local creative agencies to get their messages out. The Journal News, a media leader in the Hudson Valley, reaches thousands of readers daily who can be informed of these organizations and their causes. DesignWorks NY chose to work with Girls Inc, Westchester, and My Sisters’ Place.

Advertisements by the firm were developed for the “Give & Grow” program and ran in The Journal News during September 2011. A panel of independent judges will judge all ads submitted by the 15 local agencies, awarding one Grand Prize and two runners up. The program will culminate with a Gala event honoring winners, in January 2012.

“When I heard the Journal News was offering this program again this year, our team was immediately onboard, and decided to help two non-profits that were close to our hearts,” states DesignWorks NY principal Kelley Briggs. “The visibility the Journal News offers these worthy causes is astounding. We’re proud to be a part of it.”
